My weekend!

I have spent the better part of the week working on my final project for the EC & I course I am taking.  It is extremely time consuming but so rewarding in the end.  It was fun trying to add different pages to a wikispace and to try to incorporate as many different tools as I could.  I was able to upload pictures (a lot of waiting for the pictures to complete), add links to different things (such as sites, goggle earth…) and upload you tube videos.  One is on teacher tips and the other is a short animoto which I created.  I just love using the animoto.com site.  It is easier for me to put together a montage of pictures but not I am going to have to purchase some space in order to create longer videos.  This is definitely one tool that I will continue using and I know that the students will enjoy.  It is so easy.  I only wish my life were.  One benefit to being tied to the computer for so long is that I got to strip all of my beds and wash all the blankets.  Ahhhh, the silver lining to this cloud:)))))

  1. Thanks for the link to animoto!

  2. I have also been working on a wikispace for my social studies 9 class. I am enoying it, but I am finding it somewhat frustrating and time consuming. I am sure it will turn out fine, but I am getting concerned!

  3. I had a lot of fun too finishing up my final project. I came to the realization that I have learned a lot in this course and I have really appreciated this educational journey. I look forward to expanding my technological toolkit in the months ahead.

  4. Leave it to a woman to be stripping beds & washing bedding while completing a project for a master’s class! Multi-tasking is a vital survival tool for this program, and life in general. The trick is knowing when it is time to focus on one task at a time, and when to do several at once – all about balance.
